What is a Charter School?
At its heart, a charter school is a tuition-free public school created by parents and teachers who believe that one size does not fit all in education. While we are part of the public school family, we operate with a unique freedom: the ability to build a school around a specific North Star.
For us, that North Star is Classical Education.
Independence
Unlike a traditional neighborhood school, our independent Board of Directors has the flexibility to select a curriculum that inspires wonder and to hire faculty who are truly masters of their craft. This means that while we are a public school, our daily life, our academic results, and our focus on virtue looks very different than a typical public school.
